As an alum of the KAO sorority at Colorado College, I was very excited to be chosen as the designer in charge of the recent 5-room remodel project. The girls told us exactly what they liked and disliked about the house, and compiled their wish list. We listened, while working within a very strict budget, and we delivered! The Living Room became a space with many seating areas conducive to member recruitment. The TV Room was restored to the beautiful/functional Dining Room it was years ago, and the TV was relocated to the Living Room. The former Sunroom became a wonderful space for arts & crafts. The former housemother's 2-room suite was transformed into 2 study/meeting rooms the girls wanted in order to have a different setting for studying than the dorm. The girls are now using their house daily for much more than weekly chapter meetings......they are cooking, sharing meals, gathering for a movie and beyond!
